This series is an attempt to abstract the landscape in a 'fractured' way by combining

THE PLANET ELEGY SERIES
My growing concern with the environmental crisis threatening our planet has led me to create this series of works.
Each piece is created as a tribute to a landscape or aspect of nature I'm drawn to. I then partially obscure it with a colorless shape that, as i paint it, gives me a visceral sense of loss—that I hope is felt by the viewer as well.
GEOMETRIC/ORGANIC
These works explore the intersection of flat geometric shapes with textures inspired by nature.
